Mural painting has been a thing lately and sometimes you see this beautiful artwork made by many artists.
In early May, Monte Gardens Elementary school decided to give their old shed a "make over" by having a hand print mural of an American flag. The process began with careful planning, measuring and taping lines before having those little hands printed on the shed's wall.
The teachers and parent volunteers used Bubble Glove to cover & protect the children's hands so they didn't have to apply exterior latex paint directly on their skins and they could easily clean up.
The outcome turned out amazing and they were surprised that the gloves were able to produce such a great hand print with paint. This whole process had also taught the students to work together and that their flag mural was made with correct number of stars and stripes.
See below for pictures for the flag mural painting process. The Flag was made of hand prints from 243 students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.
